My emails were NOT playing nice together and I have run into massive problems with my two blogs. So I have had to create a new blog under my home email account. So if you are a friend here I would LOVE for you to come over to my new site and be a friend there.

Spring Break

So today was the first day of my daughters spring break. What an awesome day! It was over 80 degrees here in Va. You would think, with weather like this my eleven year old would be itching to go outside! Think again, I took her and the baby to the park and she chose to stay in the car and read while we played. I remember as a kid I hated being indoors! Times have changed alot since I was a kid.
That being said, a few projects got finished this morning. Some baby shower gifts for a person on my registry. And a bag someone ordered. I have about 5 things to finish up tomorrow and a few things for friends (who are sweet and always allow me to put them at the bottom of the list)
Tomorrow is not supposed to be nearly as nice so I will probably get it all done!

Diaper Wipe Cases

Recently a friend of mine was babysitting a ten month old, and in this little girls diaper bag was this amazing diaper wipe case. So my friend thought, hey you could make these! I really didnt want to, I have a lot of items in my store and dont want to have to many projects going! But after the third person asked me to make one, I decided to try one. My first one, to be honest, ended up in the trash. It was a hot mess. The second one, is adorable, my finer details are not so great. and my pictures (for once) make it look better than it is. But its mine, has my little guys name on it. And really, I think kinda cute. So heres to peer pressure...

so what do you think? I must say for an item I didnt want to make, I have three orders waiting to be filled!

Ok, I know most my items are for babies, but did you know that I have a tween daughter? She is 11 and our hormones are out of whack! Ok not ours, hers. A friend of mine emailed me and asked me to make a pouch for her daughter to tuck in her bag with a spare pair of underwear, a pad etc. So here is my results! With my daughters due anytime, I decided what a fantastic idea this was and decided to put it up in my shop! This is a great idea to stuff with items and give to your daughter as a gift!

What is great about this pouch? Well its large enough to carry all you see + more. Easily put a pair of undies in there too. Its lined in water resistant rip stop, easily wipes clean if you have to store dirties in there too! 

When not in use, it can carry your overnight stuff!

This is 5 inches deep and 8 inches long. It comes personalized too, if you so desire.

New Laptop

My super sweet husband was very tired of me winning about my very slow dinosaur of a lap top/desktop. He put his foot down this weekend and bought me a new one. Now, I love this thing. Its very fast and I dont get locked up opening and closing programs like I use to. My laptop was 6 years old and my desktop almost 9! How sad am I? I really dont like change at all! So, needless to say, I am going to be slooooooow to learn this new system!  So this post is for my sweet Richard Thank you for thinking of me! xoxo

With the event of my birthday, which its always an event in my house. It seems to last anywheres from 3 days to a week for some reason. But, regardless, with the event, came my beautiful gift from my husband, My new embroidery machine. Wow! It is an eye opening experience to use this after puttering along on my little sewer all theses years. Its like driving a Saab after driving a PT cruiser (I only say this because we own a PT cruiser haha) .

I love this machine. I have made some pretty neat stuff, that is now listed in my store. And, honestly, I am having the time of my life with it! 

So a little about me? I am a stay at home mom to two fantastic kids. I have an 11 year old daughter (going on 18) and I have a 13 month old son. In my former life I was a NICU nurse, and worked 12 hour night shifts, my husband worked days. When our son stopped napping and stopped sleeping through the night (at age 4-5 months old) we realized we could no longer function with two of us working. We are so very blessed to have the ability for me to stay home with our kids.
So now, we still dont sleep through the night, but we are functioning on a much better level in our home :)
